Passing days

Sometime around this time a year ago, the world as we knew it changed. Someone at some lab discovered something that brought the entire world to nothing. It was in the air, in the clouds and as minuscule as it was, it brought towering businesses to their feet, powerful people to their knees and stopped... Continue Reading →

Motorcycles

There’s something about those two wheels. The sense of freedom, happiness and joy as you coast along the roads, watching people sit in their fancy air conditioned cages aka cars while life seems to be happening right in front of your eyes. Even better when you have someone to share your ride. Was out on... Continue Reading →

Roads.. and their magic

Back when the Old Madras road was its beautiful two lane highway, there was a road sign that said - Roads bring people together. It was a landmark for us who rode to Bangalore where we would stop and click pictures. That sign got taken off thanks to road widening and what not. Back from... Continue Reading →

Cheers #21

It was an itch that first started in 2007. Err, went through my emails and realized this itch was in 2006. I was going through a phase at that time and wanted to be on the road.. like forever. But then I had to be happy with a ride to Kerala for Christmas and back... Continue Reading →

Hope

When Aragorn met the hobbits, he didn’t expect his life would change from the Lone Ranger to the King of Gondor. Such is destiny. Also got to cross the two places that have always evaded my radar in the 15 odd years of my motorcycle adventures More about all of it in a bit. Right... Continue Reading →

The two wheeled magic

There's a certain magic about swinging your leg on to a motorcycle. It is like triggering a remote switch to the riders' mind and heart when you flip that ignition switch. The rev meter starts and there's an immediate surge of happiness that flows through your veins. I doubt if there are words to explain... Continue Reading →

A December Thursday

As the Fluid’s thump out soul music and the apple doing its bit, I’m letting the still of the night sink in. It was a fucking crazy day and classic rock is just what I need. Would have turned the volume higher, but tad concerned of my neighbours. As the flavoured spirit makes its way... Continue Reading →

Tea Lessons

Interesting how life teaches you lessons every time, irrespective of how young or old you may be. It took me 38 years to finally let the lesson of sharing and caring sink into my head. And I’m glad it did. Through my growing years, I’ve picked up bits and pieces of ideas along the roads... Continue Reading →

Chicken curry

It’s a simple curry. Tomatoes, onions, ginger garlic paste, some spices and chicken. Cooked for about 30 odd minutes and is a brilliant dish that pairs brilliantly with rice or any Indian bread. Simple as it is, it brings back so many memories to me, especially when I am making this today in trust square.... Continue Reading →
